Alternatively, on an Xbox console:

1. Press the Xbox button and go to the Microsoft Store.

2. Select Redeem and enter the 25-character code.

3. Follow the prompts to complete redemption.

Expiration
Xbox gift cards and subscriptions like Xbox Live Gold do not expire once redeemed. However, unused codes may have an expiration date set by the retailer (usually up to 5 years from purchase in the EU).
